Holiday Pickup Schedule
Current Waste Solutions observes six major holidays each year. When a holiday falls on a weekday, pickups scheduled on or after the holiday are delayed by one day.
Normal pickup days are Monday through Friday. Saturday pickups only happen when a holiday delay pushes Friday service to Saturday. If a holiday falls on a Saturday or Sunday, your pickup schedule does not change.
Simple rule: pickups on or after a weekday holiday move one day later.
Pickups before the holiday stay on schedule. If the holiday falls on a Saturday or Sunday, there is no schedule change.
At a glance
Normal pickup days are Monday–Friday only.
Monday holiday
All routes move one day later. Friday routes are picked up Saturday.
Midweek holiday
Earlier pickups stay normal. The holiday day and later routes move one day.
Weekend holiday
No schedule change. Weekday routes run on their normal days.

Because July 4 falls on a Saturday in 2026, no pickups are pushed to Saturday and no weekday routes are affected.
